The u14s played out a winning performance in the worst of weather conditions. Relentless rain and strong winds from the off made this game Vs Castlegar a real challenge. Maigh Cuilinn settled well and got some early points on the board, playing against the wind in the first half. Some top class goal keeping from Castlegar kept the Maigh Cuilinn attack at bay as the second half progressed.
Aided by the wind some fine scores from distance kept the scoreboard ticking over for the home side, with good play working the sliotar out from defence.
